Synthesis and spectroscopy of YVO4 crystals activated by Yb3+ ions. (PDF/256Kb) [Voronko J.K., Kochurichin V.V., Sobol A.A., Ushakov S.N., Shukshin V.E., 19.03.2004]
Absorption and luminescence spectrum of Yb3+ in Yttrium Vanadate crystals as well as attenuation kinetics of luminescence level of 2F5/2 Yb3+ ion have been studied. (Absorption and luminescence spectrum of Yb3+ in Yttrium Vanadate crystals as well as kinetics of Yb3+ ion 2F5/2 level luminescence decay have been studied. The luminescence profile of 2F5/2→2F7/2 Yb3+ ion transition in the given crystal was calculated by Fuhtbauer-Ladenburg method. The value of a radiation lifetime Yb3+ in YVO4 is found.

Growth, spectral and laser properties of La3Be2O5:Nd3+ crystals in the 4F3/2->4I13/2 transitions (PDF/647Kb) [29.01.2003]

Crystal growth for ir-range lasers (PDF/57Kb) [24.01.2003]
Works of alexandrite (BeAL2O4:Cr3+) and berillium hexaluminate (BeAL6O10:Cr3+) high optical quality crystal growing are planned to be accomplished under the Project ISTC # B-263.

Growth and properties of beryllium hexaluminate crystals activated by chromium and titanium ions (PDF/103Kb) [24.01.2003]
During last years, spectral luminescence properties of crystalline matrices activated by transition element ions are extensively investigated to make, on this basis, new effective tunable lasers operating by electronic-vibrational transitions of the doping ions. Crystalline media providing effective lasing within near-IR region at room temperatures are especially interesting in this respect. Such media include beryllium hexaluminate.

Activated forsterite crystal growth (PDF/97Kb) [22.01.2003]
Forsterite crystals, doped with Cr4+, Cr3+, Cr2+, Co2+, Ni2+, V4+, were grown by Czochralski technique. Dependence of ionic valence condition and crystal generation characteristics upon ambient of growth is showed. It’s elicited that Mg2SiO4:Cr4+ growth demands creation of specified conditions preventing Cr2+ formation (absorption band of Cr2+ lies in oscillation region of Cr4+). Absorption spectrum of above enumerated ions in Forsterite structure is examined.

Crystals for tunable lasers of nearest ir-range (PDF/193Kb) [26.11.2002]
Compounds, what crystallize in BeO-Al2O3-system, doped by transition metal ions, in general of iron group, are considered in this work. Spectrum characteristics and information about the crystals’ quality are displayed.
